STEM camps help prepare young people for the 21stcentury workplace where the ability to apply science, technology, engineering and math skills creatively is essential. What will your kids do with their summer this year?


Once again, the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center is holding the Summer of STEM Camp to share the wonders of science, technology, engineering and math in a new, different and fun way each day!  Campers will receive lunch and transportation from central locations in the county.

COST:  This camp is free for all campers, but space is limited.

WHO: Lancaster County students currently in grades 6, 7 or 8.

WHEN: June 19-22, from 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

WHERE: Lancaster County Career & Technology Center, Mount Joy Campus 

HOW:  If you are interested registering your children for this awesome experience, please complete the online registration and health/medical forms HERE. Registration will close on May 22, 2017. 

For the first time ever, the LCCTC will be holding an Advanced Manufacturing Camp for 9th and 10th graders. Students will have the opportunity to use industrial equipment to design and manufacture a clock, puzzle, or even a working engine, use their imagination to create a 3D model of their concept and use advanced manufacturing processes to bring their concept to life.

COST:  This camp is free, but space is limited to 20 campers.

WHO: Lancaster County students currently in grades 9 & 10

WHEN: June 19-22 and June 26-29, from 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. (2 week camp)

WHERE: Lancaster County Career & Technology Center, Mount Joy Campus

CAREER CAMP 2017

COST:   No cost to attend the camp.  Space is limited, and registration is required.

WHO:  Girls and boys in Grade 5

WHEN:  Monday, June 19 - Thursday, June 22, from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

WHERE:  McCaskey EAST High School, 1051 Lehigh Ave.

TechGYRLS 

Summer Camp!

Direct your own TV commercial!  Build and program a Lego robot!

TechGYRLS is a hallmark program of YWCA Lancaster, focused on empowering girls ages 9 to 14 to pursue STEM activities and careers.

COST:  $300 per camper; sliding scale available

WHO:  Girls ages 9 to 14 

WHEN:  June 19 - June 30, 2017

  • July 10 - July 21, 2017 
  • July 24 - August 4, 2017 
  • August 7 - August 18, 2017
