Miesse Candies is 148 years old, and it shows. We make our caramels in house and by hand. Intense caramel aromas fill the air as we stir the ingredients over an open flame in a copper kettle with a paddle. Our dedication to craftsmanship and tradition is a big part of why our fresh, local caramel tastes so good. We use high quality, fresh, and local ingredients whenever possible, and are so proud to be part of the Lancaster County community.

Our goal is to carry on the tradition of candy making established at Miesse in 1875 to continue to provide the delicious long-time favorites. We will also continue the entrepreneurial sprii8t that allowed so many unique and decadent confections to be sold at our store.
